Warranty Service
The Trolling Motor Guy is an authorized Minn Kota service provider. If your motor has a defect in materials or workmanship, it may be covered under Minn Kota's limited warranty and we can handle the entire repair process on your behalf.
Minn Kota Warranty Coverage
- Most freshwater trolling motors are covered for 2 years from date of purchase
- Electronics are covered for 1 year
- Composite shafts carry a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser
- Covers defects in materials and workmanship, not damage from accidents, misuse, or normal wear
- Proof of purchase is required. If unavailable, Minn Kota will use the serial number to determine coverage
